2026 Annual Enrollment Period

2027 Annual Enrollment & Client Review Center

Everything you need to prepare for this year's Medicare Annual Enrollment Period.

October 15 – December 7

What You Need to Know This Review Season

Annual Enrollment Period is quickly approaching, and there are some important changes to this year's review process. Please take a few minutes to review the information on this page so you know what to expect.

During Annual Enrollment Period, you can:

  1. Change your Prescription Drug Plan (Part D)
  2. Change your Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C)
  3. Switch between Traditional Medicare (Medicare Supplement + Part D) and Medicare Advantage
If you do not initiate a change, your current plan will generally automatically renew unless you have received a notice that your plan is being discontinued.

Any plan changes made during Annual Enrollment Period become effective January 1, 2027.

Medicare Advantage Reviews (Part C)

If you currently have a Medicare Advantage Plan through our office, watch for the review request information beginning October 1st.

Beginning October 1st, this page will include a link for submitting your current prescription and doctor information, along with a short video showing you how to complete the review request.

If you currently have a Medicare Advantage Plan through our office, you can now submit your information for your 2027 plan review.

Before submitting your request, we recommend watching the short instructional video below. It will walk you through how to complete the review request and what information you will need.

Important Deadline: November 30

Medicare Advantage review requests must be submitted no later than November 30th. Review requests will not be accepted after this date.
What happens after you submit your request?
  1. Submit your prescription and doctor information using the Review Request button above.
  2. Our office will review the information you submitted.
  3. We will email or text you to schedule your phone review.
The Medicare Advantage Review Request Deadline Has Passed

The deadline to submit a Medicare Advantage review request was November 30th. We are no longer accepting new review requests for this Annual Enrollment Period.

You can still watch the instructional video below if you would like to learn more about our Medicare Advantage review process.

Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)

IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR 2027

This year, many insurance companies are no longer allowing agents to assist with their prescription drug plans. Because of this, we will no longer be able to provide individual Part D quotes or plan recommendations as we have in the past.

This was a very difficult decision. We explored every option, but without agent access and support from many of these companies, we do not have the resources needed to confidently determine the best prescription plan for each client.

We are not leaving you on your own.

We have put together several resources to help you review and choose your Part D coverage:

  • Educational webinars explaining how to compare plans
  • Recordings you can watch at your convenience
  • Weekly Part D Q&A webinars where you can ask questions and get help with the process
  • Step-by-step "How To" documents
These changes apply ONLY to stand-alone Prescription Drug Plans (Part D).

We will continue to personally review and assist with your other Medicare coverage as usual.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Reviews

If you currently have a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy, your review process is different from Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan reviews.

Indiana's New Medicare Supplement Birthday Rule

As we've shared throughout the year, Indiana passed a new law that gives Medicare Supplement policyholders an important opportunity to change their coverage around their birthday.

Under the new Birthday Rule, you may be able to change your Medicare Supplement to the same plan letter without medical underwriting during your birthday window. This means you cannot be declined because of your health.

Since the beginning of the year, we have been contacting clients by email and phone as their birthday window approaches to review their current policy and premium.

Is Your Birthday in October, November or December?

If your birthday is in October, November or December, please contact us and provide:

  • Your current Medicare Supplement company
  • Your current monthly premium

We will review your information and contact you to schedule a time to discuss your options during your birthday window.

If Your Birthday Is NOT in October, November or December

There is nothing you need to do right now. Keep an eye out for an email from us as your birthday approaches.

Think You May Be Paying Too Much Now?

If your premium seems unusually high and you are in good health, you do not necessarily have to wait until your birthday.

If you can pass the insurance company's health underwriting questions, we can review whether changing plans through medical underwriting may be an option for you now.

Not Sure if You Have a Medicare Supplement?

A Medicare Supplement works alongside Original Medicare and helps pay some of the costs Medicare does not cover. Medicare Supplement plans have a plan letter, such as Plan F or Plan G.

Your Medicare Supplement is separate from your Part D prescription drug plan.

If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C), that is different coverage. A Medicare Advantage Plan provides your Medicare benefits through a private insurance plan rather than receiving your benefits directly through Original Medicare.
